Scope of Symposium

Nanomaterials with a size range from 1 to 100 nm are interesting owing to their unique properties related to small size. For example, quantum dots show unique photoemission properties corresponding to their chemical composition and size. Similarly, metallic nanoparticles and nanofibers are used for a variety of applications ranging from transistors, solar cells, displays, bioimaging applications, to name a few. This symposium will cover synthesis, characterisation nanomaterials and their self-assembly under various environments. In addition, we will also look at some of the emerging developments and applications in nanoscience and technology platform.
