Scope of Symposium

Nanofabrication is the design and realization of structures at nanometer dimensions. Features at such a scale are believed to exhibit special properties in electrical, optical, magnetic, etc. due to the quantum size effects. Devices incorporating nanofeatures have applications in information and data storage, optics, electronics, biomedicine, etc. The symposium is intended to be a forum devoted to the advances in nanofabrication technologies that enable the successful development and expansion of materials science into the new fields of application. It also provides a platform for networking and initiating collaborations in the area of nanotechnology.
